Son
of Green Bay native songwriter Alan Kubinski and Danish beauty queen
Betsy Jorgenson, Daniel spent his early years aquiring a love for
the road. He quickly proved himself a worthy crew member for his
father's band, The Journey Men, and
forged himself a life rooted in music and travel.
As a teen, Daniel managed to find his way into a number of successful
touring rock outfits such as the critically acclaimed DIE
KREUZEN of SOUTHERN and Touch and Go Records, the industrial sensation
BOY DIRT CAR,
and even a Cheap Trick tribute band aptly titled CHICK TREAT featuring memebrs of Couch flambeau and F/I.
Now with Decapitado, Daniel has cultivated his own style of music creation. His influences include but are not
limited to Sonic Youth, Soulfly, Fugazi, Deftones, Kittie, The Swans,Radiohead,
Black Sabbath, Bad Brains, The Damned, Hazil Atkins, Black Flag,
Abba, The Sex Pistols, Neil Young, The Sisters of Mercy, Bowie, Sparks,
Einsturzende
