This photo (by Tanaka Suzuki) was taken at the Subterranean in Chicago on October 28th, 2006, where we played with Beatallica and The Gruesomes.



As you can see, Dan is playing a 5 string bass, his first show with that drop A. Awesome low end power, holy shit.  Makes your inerts shake.  We got to play a set featuring many newer songs and old songs with new added low-end power.



SubT is an interesting venue.  Although you'd think this place is in a basement somewhere, it's actually on the second floor and has a cool multi-level setup. 



Since it was nearly Halloween, there were many costumed individuals wandering the streets of Wicker Park.  It made for very colorful people watching.
